Many homeowners have a roofer look first, so they know whether there is real damage before opening a claim. Check your policy for any deadlines on reporting storm damage, since those vary by insurer. Will my insurance pay for a new roof? That depends on your policy, your deductible and what the adjuster finds, so we cannot promise it. We can show you the damage, document it with photos and give you a quote, so you have clear information going in. What storm damage do you look for? We look for hail bruising and cracked or creased shingles, missing tabs, granule loss, dented vents and gutters, and loose flashing around chimneys and skylights.
